Today's Photo Blog comes from Venice where I've chosen the small island of Murano in the Venetian Lagoon as the subject. You can use the Venice water buses to visit all of the islands in the lagoon and this one is just a 15-20 minute journey from the stop outside Venice's train station (Ferrovia). Murano is famous for its glass factories and you'll find an impressive Glass Museum along with dozens of little shops selling their home-made wares. The other striking thing about Murano is the array of colour, whether that comes from the pretty houses, the boats or the green of the water which is so vibrant even on a rainy day as can be seen in this photo.
Today's photo comes from Verona. I've chosen this one as it's such a great representation of autumn. This particular shot was taken at the city's arsenal (Arsenale) just across from the impressive Castelvecchio Bridge. Verona Review is a recent addition to our suite of travel sites and offers a wealth of useful information and images of Verona. We provide a comprehensive guide of things to see in the city and of course how to get there with our Travel section. You can also write in an ask for free advice on Verona Hotels or other accommodation and we'll get straight back to you with help. I'll be back with another update soon anyway. Ciao :-)
