Tiny Castellaro is a charming village in the Liguria region of Italy, situated in the hills just seven kilometres from Sanremo and the Ligurian coast. With a population of approximately 1,200, it offers a tranquil atmosphere surrounded by olive groves and lush landscapes. The town is known for its historical and religious landmarks, including the 12th-century Church of San Pietro and the Sanctuary of Nostra Signora di Lampedusa, a pilgrimage site with stunning views.

​Castellaro is also a gateway to outdoor activities, with scenic hiking and cycling trails. Its peaceful ambiance and proximity to the Riviera make it a delightful destination.
