FA  Trains  in  Italy

The FA trains in Italy are the Frecciargento services which are operated by the national Italian train company called Trenitalia. 

Whenever you see FA as the prefix to an Italian train number (usually followed by four digits), it relates to the Frecciargento trains which translates into English as Silver Arrow.

You may also find FR (Frecciarossa) and FB (Frecciabianco) trains operated by the same company. All three  train types are high-speed options connecting the major cities of the Italian mainland.
