The FB trains in Italy are the Frecciabianca services operated by Trenitalia; the national rail company of Italy.
Translating into English as White Arrow, the Frecciabianco trains connect major cities and train stations across mainland Italy.
The same company also operates the Frecciarossa (Red Arrow) and Frecciargento (Silver Arrow) trains which come with the FR and FA prefixes respectively.
Each of the Freccia trains are very similar in terms of journey times, facilities and comfort levels; although there are variations in prices between the three trains, they usually relate to factors such as peak time travel or early booking discounts for example.
