Over the last decade, I’ve personally visited more than 2,000 places across Italy — and from that enormous number, I’ve narrowed things down to my top 100.

​These are the towns, cities, islands, lakes, and landscapes that left the strongest impression on me — whether for their beauty, history, energy, or something harder to define.
​
It’s not a scientific ranking — it’s a personal one. I’ve picked places I’d recommend most, based on first-hand experience. You may agree with some, disagree with others — and that’s part of the fun.
