The Top 10 of Italy series starts with the Top Ten Cities of Italy and we'll gradually be working our way through all the other categories. Not only will there be top tens of places like seaside towns or hilltop villages, but we'll also be ranking cultural institutions such as museums, palaces and archaeological sites.
Eventually we'll have the top ten of everything in Italy on one easy to glance page. Of course, compiling lists such as these will upset and delight in equal measure; those on the lists will say it's a jolly good list and those that are excluded will tell you it's meaningless rubbish. As always, the truth will lie somewhere in between and remember, these are just opinions. |
I'd love to hear what you all think about the lists, whether good or bad, and who knows, you may just change my mind on something with a persuasive argument. It could be that I've overlooked an important aspect of your favourite town or church for example.
