Ansedonia is a coastal village in Tuscany, positioned on a rocky headland overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea near the southern reaches of the Maremma. Standing around 100 metres above sea level, it provides sweeping views of the Monte Argentario peninsula and the Tombolo della Feniglia. By Rail: Ansedonia does not have its own railway station. The nearest station is in Orbetello-Monte Argentario, about 10 kilometres away, on the main Rome–Grosseto line operated by Trenitalia. Regional trains connect Orbetello to Rome in around 1 hour and 30 minutes and to Grosseto in about 30 minutes. From the station, Ansedonia can be reached by car or taxi via the Via Aurelia (SS1) road.

From Grosseto, the distance is approximately 45 kilometres, with a driving time of about 40 minutes via the SS1 motorway. Parking is available near the beach area and close to the archaeological site of Cosa.
