Italian  Cuisine  by  Region​

One of the great attractions of a visit to Italy is the food. Renowned throughout the world for its excellence, it's provided a long list of dishes that are now staples of kitchens and restaurants across the globe. We're all familiar with the famous pasta dishes and of course pizzas but there is so much more to discover and enjoy. 

When we look at Italian Cuisine by Region, we find that each of the official twenty regions of Italy have their own typical dishes. In fact it's ironic to think that most Italians don't think of Italian cuisine per se, they're more likely to sing the praises of the food they grew up with in their home town or city and to explain to you why their particular cuisine is the best in the country.
