The best beach resorts of Italy have been selected from hundreds of contenders all across the country. Each resort has been carefully assessed after a personal visit and with an independent point of view. No since area or region has been favoured over another.
The 14 resorts listed below come under a slightly different category to the Seaside Towns of Italy which are larger towns with several beaches and more to offer beyond the beaches themselves. The beach resorts also differ slightly from the list of Best Beaches in Italy where there is little beyond the beach itself and perhaps a few places to eat and drink. |
