Italy to Corsica Ferry Routes
Latest page update: 5 December 2024
The Italy to Corsica ferry routes detail the crossings from eight Italian ports to five on the French-owned island. Sardinia provides the shortest route into Corsica: the two islands are separated by the Strait of Bonifacio which is just six kilometres wide at its narrowest point between Corsica and La Maddalena Archipelago.
Sardinia's ports of Santa Teresa Gallura, Porto Torres and Golfo Aranci provide crossings into Corsica, while Italian mainland ports such as Livorno, Genoa, Savona and Piombino offer routes, along with Portoferraio on the island of Elba. The five ports in Corsica are Ajaccio, Bastia, Bonifacio, L'Ile Rousse and Porto Vecchio. |
