The beach resort of Biodola and is situated within the Comune of Portoferraio, on the island of Elba in the Tuscan Archipelago and just a short distance from the island's capital: Portoferraio.
With its combination of shallow waters and powdery golden sand, Biodola paints pretty pictures with a breathtaking array of colours; as much a photographer's as a holidaymaker's dream. |
The resort can be reached by road (around 12 minutes from Portoferraio) with car parks available and also a bus stop next to the beach. It's a firm fixture on my list of Must See Elba sights and one of the prettiest beach resorts in Italy.
