The Teatro La Fenice in Venice is one of the oldest theatres in Italy, originally established in 1792. Over the years it has been the venue for the premiere of some of the most successful operas in history including the works of Italian composers such as Verdi and Rossini.
The theatre is situated in the San Marco sestiere of Venice and can be visited even outside of scheduled theatrical performances. |
