Chiesa di San Giovanni degli Eremiti

The Chiesa di San Giovanni degli Eremiti is an historic church in Palermo city centre, situated close to the Royal Palace of Palermo and the Ballarò market. The church was built in 1132 and displays elements of both Romanesque and Italian Gothic architecture.
Since 2015 it's been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site along with nine other monuments in Palermo and the surrounding area. |
