Latest update: 26 February 2022
The Padua Baptistery or Battistero di San Giovanni Battista was built in the Romanesque architectural style and stands adjacent to the cathedral in the city of Padua in the Veneto region.
Consecrated in 1281, the interior of the Baptistery is almost entirely covered in a fresco cycle by Florentine early Renaissance artist Giusto de' Menabuoi who is buried close to the building. |
