The Venice Water Bus Vaporetto Map can seem a little daunting at first with its multi-coloured lines and routes named with a combination of numbers and letters. It does get easier though, and by the time you finish your trip to Venice you'll be travelling around like a local.
Vaporetto is the colloquial term for the water buses which are by far the cheapest and most effective way to explore the city. Not only can you easily reach all of the main sights around the central island of Venice, but you can access the must-see islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello, or even make your way to the mainland at Chioggia or Punta Sabbioni. |
