The Lys Valley is one of the most picturesque areas of the Valle d'Aosta region of north-western Italy. It follows the northbound route of the Lys river from the town of Pont-Saint-Martin.
A scenic road follows the line of the river with pretty villages such as Fontainemore, Lillianes, Gaby and Issime along the way. One of the highlights is the Castello Savoia close to Gressoney-Saint-Jean. |
