The shortest route from Italy to Albania is the seven hour crossing from the port of Brindisi in the southern region of Puglia, to the Albanian city of Valona (or Vlore). Another port in Puglia offers two routes into Albania with crossings from Bari to Durazzo (Durres) as well as Valona. It's also possible to sail from Ancona to Durazzo.
