The beach is soft and sandy while the area around it great for taking walks; if you walk to the south of the beach you reach a little piece of headland called Punta del Cane which is accessed via a path and leads on to further beaches.
Fontane Bianche is a small resort which is all geared towards beach life. There are a number of accommodation options just a short walk from the sea and plenty of places to eat and drink There are a small number of car parks around the beach but the closer you get to the peak of summer (July and August), the more difficult it becomes to find a space.
