​The island of San Domino is one of the four Tremiti Islands, situated in the Adriatic Sea and within the Province of Foggia.

​Even at just two square kilometres in size, San Domino is the largest in the archipelago and the one where you're most likely to eat or sleep if you decide on an extended stay. The main beach is the beautiful Cala delle Arene which is just by the arrival port.

Isola San Domino, also known as San Domino, is one of the five islands that make up the Tremiti archipelago in the Adriatic Sea, off the coast of Apulia, Italy. It is the largest and most popular of the Tremiti Islands, renowned for its stunning natural beauty, crystal-clear waters, and sandy beaches.
History
 Isola San Domino has a long and fascinating history that dates back to ancient times. Like the other islands in the archipelago, it has been inhabited since the Neolithic period. Throughout history, the island has been under the control of various civilizations, including the Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Normans, and Venetians.

During the Middle Ages, Isola San Domino became a strategic outpost for maritime defense. It served as a refuge for sailors and fishermen and was equipped with watchtowers to protect the island from pirate raids.
