Greek Theatre of Syracuse

The Greek Theatre of Syracuse represents one of the most remarkable archaeological sites in the world. It dates back some 2,500 years old to the 5th century BC yet remained largely intact.
Situated just to the north of the city of Syracuse in Sicily, it takes its place among the sights in the Neapolis Archaeological Park which also include the Ear of Dionysus and a Roman amphitheatre. |
