Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls

The Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls is one of four churches in Rome classified as a Major Basilica. It shares this distinction with the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, the Archbasilica of Saint John Lateran and Saint Peter's Basilica.
Although originally established in 324 AD, the current structure wasn't completed until 1840 and in the Neoclassical style. |
