The Ponte Flaminio is a landmark road bridge which traverses the River Tiber a short distance to the north of Rome city centre.
Measuring 255 metres in length, the bridge was completed in 1951 and forms an integral part of the city's traffic system. It's characterised by its ornamental street lamps and Roman Eagle statues which give it a flavour of Mussolini's Fascist period. |
