The website you're on now, Italy Review, is one of six sites that make up the Italy Review network, dedicated to showcasing the best that Italy can offer from the well-established icons of the country to its hidden gems just waiting to be discovered.
The websites have all been produced by myself, Dion Protani (an Englishman despite my Italian-sounding name). A life-long Italophile I realised my life's ambition when I had the opportunity to live in Italy back in 2012, on the beautiful island of Ischia.
There I produced the Ischia Review website and the experience of that inspired me to create something that would cover the whole country. Since then I've visited as many places as I could possibly fit in, taking thousands of images along the way and generally having a wonderful time discovering Italy.
Along with the Italy and Ischia websites: there's also Sorrento Review which covers not only the popular seaside resort and Peninsula from which it takes its name, but the city of Naples, the Amalfi Coast, the island of Capri and the wider Campania region.
In 2022 three new websites were added to the network with each of Puglia Review, Sicily Review and Tuscany Review providing in-depth visitor information on the regions they take their name from as well as services like tours and private transfers.
As you work your way around the websites I hope you'll be inspired to visit some of the places that are featured and find the websites to be a useful resource for your travels.
