The Teatro Bibiena is a small theatre in the city of Mantua in the Lombardy region of northern Italy. Officially opened on 3rd December 1769, it takes its name from its designer: Antonio Galli Bibiena and is composed of four rows of boxes. 

One of the first performers to take the stage here was the 13 year old Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart on 16th January 1770.

Teatro Bibiena, also known as Teatro Scientifico, is an exquisite and historic theater located in Mantua, a city in the Lombardy region of northern Italy. The theater is renowned for its stunning Baroque architecture and its association with the prominent Bibiena family of architects.
History
Teatro Bibiena was designed by the renowned architect Antonio Galli Bibiena, a member of the influential Bibiena family, and it was constructed between 1767 and 1769. The theater was commissioned by the noble Gonzaga family, who ruled Mantua, as a venue for musical and theatrical performances.

The theater was initially built to celebrate the marriage of Archduke Ferdinand, the future emperor of Austria, to Maria Beatrice d'Este. The inaugural performance at the theater took place in 1769, and it was attended by dignitaries and nobles from across Europe.

Over the years, Teatro Bibiena hosted numerous significant events and performances, becoming one of the most prestigious theaters in Europe during the 18th and 19th centuries.
