Trevi Fountain
Latest update: 26 February 2022
The Trevi Fountain is one of the most famous sights in Rome city centre and draws huge crowds all year round. Perhaps the most famous fountain in the world, it was designed by Roman architect Nicola Salvi who sadly died before it was finally finished in 1762.
A popular tradition is to throw coins in the fountain for good luck; this tradition sees the Trevi Fountain earn roughly €3,000 per day! |
