The Albenga Baptistery dates back to the 5th century AD and is an important architectural legacy from the early Christian period. 

​In modern times, the Baptistery forms part of the Museo Diocesano e Battistero Paleocristiano complex within the walled section of Albenga, the beautifully-preserved medieval town in the region of Liguria. The interior is decorated with some exquisite mosaics.

The Albenga Baptistery, known as Battistero di Albenga in Italian, is a historic religious building located in the town of Albenga, in the Liguria region of Italy. It is one of the most important examples of early Christian architecture in northern Italy and holds significant religious and historical value.

The Albenga Baptistery is a small, octagonal-shaped building made of stone and brick. It features a dome with small windows and a simple yet elegant exterior design. The entrance is adorned with decorative elements and rounded arches, typical of early Christian and Romanesque architecture.
