Latest update: 26 February 2022
The Albenga Baptistery dates back to the 5th century AD and is an important architectural legacy from the early Christian period.
In modern times, the Baptistery forms part of the Museo Diocesano e Battistero Paleocristiano complex within the walled section of Albenga, the beautifully-preserved medieval town in the region of Liguria. The interior is decorated with some exquisite mosaics. |
