Augustus Gardens

Known locally as Giardini di Augusto, Augustus Gardens is one of the prettiest places on the island of Capri.
Aside from the beautiful gardens it boasts some of the most spectacular views in southern Italy. Looking to one side you see the Faraglioni rocks, the iconic image of Capri, while to the other is Via Krupp with the beaches of Marina Piccola in the distance. |

You can reach Augustus Gardens within a 5 minute walk from Capri Town and its Piazzetta. From there, head towards the Certosa di San Giacomo and turn right along the pretty path before reaching the entrance to the gardens at the end.
Tickets to visit the gardens are just €1 per person and the garden stays open from 09:00 to 19:30 during the summer (April - October) or from 09:30 to 17:30 during March & November.
