​The beach resort of Baia Domizia is situated within the Province of Caserta, on the Tyrrhenian coast. It's officially part of the Cellole comune, which is a distance of 16 kilometres away.

Places of interest nearby include Santa Maria Capua Vetere and the Royal Palace of Caserta while Naples Airport is 67 kilometres away and reachable by car in an hour and 3 minutes.

Baia Domizia was developed as a coastal resort in the 1960s. It was originally conceived as a tourist destination, and extensive construction took place to create hotels, holiday resorts, and recreational facilities.

The town's location along the Tyrrhenian Sea with its beautiful sandy beaches and warm Mediterranean climate made it an attractive destination for both Italian and international tourists.
