​The beach of Cala del Varo is part of the Riserva Naturale dello Zingaro in the Province of Trapani. 

​The reserve is located within the comune of San Vito Lo Capo. 

Access to the beach is on foot with the nearest car park being the southern entrance to the reserve.

From the car park to the beach is a distance of 1.4 kilometres, a 19 minute walk. Places of interest close by include Castellammare del Golfo and La Tonnara di Scopello.

Cala del Varo is a small, hidden beach located on the western coast of Sicily, near the town of San Vito Lo Capo. The beach features clear, inviting waters and a rocky shoreline, providing a tranquil spot for swimming and sunbathing. Its secluded position, accessible only by foot, makes it a quieter alternative to more popular beaches in the region. The surrounding cliffs create a picturesque backdrop, adding to the charm of the location.

At Cala del Varo, visitors can enjoy activities such as swimming, snorkelling, and relaxing by the water. The clear waters make it ideal for exploring marine life, and the peaceful environment is perfect for unwinding.
