​The town of Città Sant'Angelo is situated within the Province of Pescara in Abruzzo and has a population of 15,057 inhabitants.

Listed as one of the Borghi Più Belli d'Italia (Italy's most beautiful villages), it stands at an elevation of 320 metres above sea level. The town has ten hotels while nearby places of interest include Montesilvano, Silvi Paese, Silvi Marina, Pescara and Penne.
Among the most striking sights in Città Sant'Angelo is the Collegiata di San Michele Arcangelo, a church that lies at the bottom end of the main thoroughfare: Corso Vittorio Emanuele.
