The lakeside town of Dongo is situated in the Province of Como, on the shores of Lake Como. It has a population of around 3,000 residents and is located a distance of 97 kilometres north of Milan, the regional capital of Lombardy

Dongo is a historic town located in the province of Como, Lombardy, on the northern shore of Lake Como. Situated about 10 kilometres north of Gravedona, Dongo is nestled between the lake and the surrounding mountains, offering stunning views of both the water and the rugged landscape. The town is known for its rich history, including its role during World War II, and its tranquil lakeside setting, with a charming mix of narrow streets, traditional buildings, and scenic promenades.

The area surrounding Dongo is perfect for outdoor activities, with the lake offering opportunities for swimming, boating, and fishing. The nearby mountains provide numerous hiking trails, leading to scenic viewpoints and alpine meadows, while the region is also popular for cycling and nature walks.
