Pantelleria  Airport​

Although it's possible to sail by ferry to Pantelleria, the fastest way in and out is to fly to Pantelleria Airport. Situated close to the main town on the island, it's just a 10 minute taxi ride once you land. 

Most flights come in from the fellow Sicilian airports of Trapani and Palermo with journey times of 40 minutes and 45 minutes respectively whereas the fast ferries take just over two hours.
It is though, also possible to fly to other cities in Italy including Rome Fiumicino, Milan (Malpensa and Linate), Bergamo, Genoa, Turin, Venice and Verona. Apart from Palermo and Trapani, each of the destinations listed is only available during the summer months. The same also applies to another Sicilian airport: Catania. ​
