The seaside town of Peschici sits on the northern edge of the Gargano Peninsula in the Province of Foggia. Facing out on to the Adriatic Sea, it has a population of 4,488 residents.
As you drive around the coast from nearby Rodi Garganico, the full spectre of Peschici comes into view with its whitewashed houses tumbling down towards the beach and the marina. |
Aside from the attractions of the beach, the upper part of town is a great place to explore and includes the ruins of a small, medieval castle which affords great views out to sea.
