The Ponte di Tiberio is an Ancient Roman bridge built in 20 AD and named after the ruling emperor of the time: Tiberius. It spans a short canal that leads up to a marina in the city of Rimini in Emilia Romagna, one of the most famous seaside resorts in Italy.
Reaching a total length of 63 metres, the narrow stone bridge of five arches is still used by pedestrians and small vehicles. |
