How to Get to Porto Cesareo
By Rail: The nearest train station is Lecce, around 30 kilometres inland. Lecce is on the main Adriatic line and is well connected to Bari, Brindisi, and Rome by Trenitalia’s Frecciargento and Intercity services. The onward journey to Porto Cesareo takes about 40 minutes by car or bus.

By Road: Porto Cesareo is located on the Ionian coast of Puglia, approximately 27 kilometres west of Lecce and 60 kilometres north of Gallipoli. It can be reached via the SP359 and SP110 local roads. Public car parks are available near the seafront and town centre during the summer season.

  • Brindisi – Salento Airport: About 55 kilometres away, with a drive of around 45 minutes. Brindisi handles domestic flights and seasonal international routes to Europe.
  • Bari Karol Wojtyła Airport: Located roughly 170 kilometres from Porto Cesareo, taking just over 2 hours by car. Bari offers a broader selection of year-round international services.
