Portoferraio  Ferry  Schedules

The Portoferraio ferry schedules detail the routes back and forth between the capital of Elba and the four destinations connected to it. Portoferraio lies on the north coast of Elba and is by far the busiest of the six ports on the island. The greatest amount of maritime traffic runs between the island's capital and the Italian mainland port of Piombino with as many as fifty different sailing times running in each direction at the height of summer. 

Six different ferry companies operate out of Portoferraio with BluNavy, Corsica Ferries, Moby and Toremar providing ferry crossings for motor vehicles, while Aquavision, Elba Ferries and Toremar are able to the faster hydrofoils for foot passengers only.

Portoferraio  Ferry  Tickets  and  Timetables

The Portoferraio ferry ticket booking engine can be used not only for booking tickets, but also for checking the times. When purchasing a ticket via the booking engine a transaction fee applies that you don't have to pay when buying directly from the ticket office. If you simply want to check the latest times, just enter your dates and the route option - you don't have to go as far as making a booking if you don't want to.
