The Rocca Sforzesca of Imola is a thirteenth century castle in the Emilia Romagna region. It takes its name from the Sforza family who ruled much of northern Italy during the Renaissance era.
Surrounded on all four sides by a dry moat, the iconic structure now houses a museum exhibiting a range of ceramics and weaponry. The castle is a 5 minute walk from the centre of Imola. |
