By Rail: San Lorenzo Dorsino does not have its own railway station. The nearest station is in Trento, about 40 kilometres away, on the Verona–Brennero line. From Trento, regional and long-distance trains connect to Verona in around 1 hour and to Bolzano in about 40 minutes. From Trento, onward travel to San Lorenzo Dorsino is possible by car, taxi, or bus via Sarche and the SS421 road.

By Road: The village lies in the Brenta Dolomites, between Lake Molveno and the Giudicarie valleys. From Trento, the distance is about 40 kilometres, with a driving time of roughly 1 hour. From Riva del Garda, the journey is around 45 kilometres and takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes. From Verona, the distance is approximately 110 kilometres, with a driving time of about 2 hours. Parking is available near the centre and close to the main walking routes in the area.
