How to Get to San Miniato
By Rail: San Miniato is served by the San Miniato-Fucecchio railway station, located about 5 kilometres from the historic centre on the Pisa–Florence line operated by Trenitalia. Regional trains connect the town to Pisa in approximately 40 minutes and to Florence in about 45 minutes. Local buses and taxis link the station with the upper part of the town.

By Road: The town lies in central Tuscany, between Pisa and Florence. From Pisa, the distance is about 45 kilometres, with a driving time of roughly 50 minutes via the SGC FI-PI-LI expressway. From Florence, the journey is around 50 kilometres and takes just under 1 hour, while from Siena it is approximately 80 kilometres and takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Several car parks are located near the historic centre, with shuttle services available to the upper town.
