The seaside town of Sori is situated on the Riviera di Levante in the Province of Genoa.

It has a population of 4,033 inhabitants and is located 15 kilometres east of Genoa, the regional capital of Liguria. The nearest hotels are in Recco while nearby places of interest include Camogli, Bogliasco, Nervi, Boccadasse and Rapallo.

Sori is a charming coastal town located in the Liguria region of northern Italy. Situated between Genoa and Portofino, Sori offers a picturesque setting with its colorful houses, scenic beaches, and a relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere.

History
Sori's history can be traced back to Roman times when it was known as "Sorrium." Over the centuries, the town witnessed various ruling powers, including the Byzantines and the Republic of Genoa. Its strategic location on the Ligurian coast made it an important maritime center, engaged in fishing and maritime trade.

During the Middle Ages, Sori became part of the Republic of Genoa, and its fortunes were intertwined with the city's maritime and commercial activities.

To reach Sori, you can fly into Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport, which is the closest major airport, and then travel to the town by car or train. Sori is well-connected to the region's transportation network, making it easily accessible for travelers.
