By Rail: Tonnara di Bonagia does not have a train station. The nearest station is in Trapani, around 12 kilometres away, which is served by regional trains on the line connecting to Palermo. Travel onwards from Trapani is by car or taxi, taking roughly 15 minutes.

By Road: Tonnara di Bonagia is located on the northwestern coast of Sicily, approximately 12 kilometres northeast of Trapani and about 90 kilometres west of Palermo. The drive from Trapani takes around 15 minutes via the SP20, while the journey from Palermo takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Limited parking is available near the historic tonnara site and the waterfront.
