Turin Airport
The principal flight hub in the Piedmont region is Turin Airport, otherwise known as Turin-Caselle Airport or Aerporto Sandro Pertini. The airport is located just 15 km from the centre of Turin with a journey time of around 25 minutes by car.
The airport is serviced by a number of international airlines including British Airways, Lufthansa, Air France and Ryanair. From here it's possible to fly to most major European capitals including London (Gatwick and Stansted), Paris, Amsterdam and Madrid, while the most popular routes are to and from the German cities of Frankfurt and Munich as well as Barcelona in Spain.
If planning to fly domestically within Italy there's also a healthy number of destinations available including Rome and Naples as well as airports in Sicily, Puglia and Calabria.
