Situated ten kilometres outside the city of Verona lies Verona Airport. Its full name is Verona Villafranca Airport and it's a convenient option for people travelling to Lake Garda which is just a half an hour drive away. 

Transiting around three and a half million passengers per year, Verona Airport is 15 minute taxi ride from Verona city centre.

​Low-cost airlines Ryanair and Easyjet offer flights to the UK airports of London Gatwick, London Stansted, Birmingham and Dublin while domestically it's possible to fly from Verona to Rome, Naples, Sicily and Sardinia among other Italian destinations. ​

Aside from its proximity to Lake Garda, Verona Airport serves the city of Verona itself with transfer times of around 15 minutes by car or bus. It's also well-positioned for the Veneto cities of Vicenza (63 km) and Padova (95 km) or to head north to some of the ski resorts in the Alps. ​
