​The town of Vetralla belongs to the historical area of Tuscia, the Roman name for Etruria, the land of the Etruscans.

Vetralla is situated within the Province of Viterbo and stands at an elevation of 300 metres above sea level. The town has a population of around 14,000 inhabitants while places of interest nearby include Lake Vico, San Martino al Cimino, Blera and Ronciglione.

Vetralla is a town located in the province of Viterbo, in the Lazio region of central Italy. Positioned along the ancient Roman road of Via Cassia, it lies in a scenic area characterised by rolling hills, olive groves, and vineyards.
