The town of Bardolino is located on the shores of Lake Garda, in the Province of Verona and has a population of 7,178 inhabitants.

​It's situated around 145 kilometres west of Venice, the regional capital of Veneto.​ Standing at an elevation of 65 metres above sea level, it covers an area of 57 km². Among the nearby places of interest are Garda, Torri del Benaco and Peschiera del Garda.

History
During the Roman era, Bardolino was an important center for the production of olive oil and wine. The town's name is believed to have originated from the Bardolino grape, which is used to produce the renowned Bardolino wine.
