Lakeside  Towns  of  Veneto

The best ​lakeside towns of Veneto can be found around Lake Garda but there are some other great locations including Lake Alleghe and Lake Auronzo with their own towns waiting to be discovered. ​Veneto shares Lake Garda with Lombardy to the west and the Trentino Alto Adige/South Tyrol region to the north.

On the Veneto shores of Lake Garda we find famous resorts such as Malcesine which is one of the most famous lakeside towns of Italy. Whereas Malcesine hugs the eastern shoreline of Italy's largest lake, Peschiera del Garda is the major town along its southern section and is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
