The lakeside town of Blevio is situated in the Province of Como, on the shores of Lake Como. It has a population of around 1,200 residents and is located a distance of 55 kilometres north of Milan, the regional capital of Lombardy.

Blevio has a Lake Como ferry port, while nearby places of interest include Torno, Como, Cernobbio, Moltrasio and Faggeto Lario.

History
The history of Blevio can be traced back to ancient times, with evidence of human settlements in the area since Roman and medieval eras. The village was strategically positioned along the lake, and its historical development was closely tied to the nearby city of Como. Throughout the centuries, Blevio experienced various influences and ruling powers, including the Visconti and Sforza families.
