​The hill town of Caccamo is situated within​ the Metropolitan City of Palermo province, a distance of 47 kilometres south east of Palermo, the regional capital of Sicily. 

Standing at an elevation of 521 metres above sea level it has a population of around 8,000 residents. Nearby places of interest include Termini Imerese, San Nicola l'Arena and Santa Flavia.
