Carmignano is a charming town located in the province of Prato, in the Tuscany region of Italy. It is known for its historical significance, beautiful landscapes, and excellent wines. ​
History
 Carmignano has a long and fascinating history that dates back to ancient times. The area was settled by the Etruscans, and later, the Romans established a presence in the region. During the medieval period, Carmignano was governed by various noble families, including the Medici.

The town was a strategic location due to its position along the important trade routes between Florence and Pistoia. Over the centuries, Carmignano has been influenced by different artistic and architectural styles, leaving behind a rich cultural heritage.
