By car you can reach Lido di Jesolo in 23 minutes (17 km), Treviso in an hour (57 km) or Venice in just over an hour. However, the great advantage of Cavallino Treporti is that it has a stop on the Venice Water Bus (Vaporetto) system. From the Treporti stop, it takes around an hour to reach Venice. The most convenient airports for Cavallino Treporti are Venice Marco Polo Airport (48 km) and Treviso Airport (59 km).

By Rail: Cavallino Treporti does not have its own train station. The nearest railway station is in San Donà di Piave–Jesolo, approximately 35 kilometres away, served by Trenitalia regional and intercity trains on the Venice–Trieste line. Journey times are about 30 minutes from Venice. From the station, Cavallino Treporti can be reached by bus in around 1 hour or by taxi.

By Road: Cavallino Treporti is located on a narrow peninsula east of Venice, between the Venetian Lagoon and the Adriatic Sea. It is accessible via the SR43 road from Jesolo or by crossing the bridge at Punta Sabbioni. The drive from Venice takes around 1 hour and from Treviso approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Public parking is available in key areas, including Punta Sabbioni, the town centre, and near campgrounds and beaches.
